January 19

The weather turned warm and sunny for our last day at Disney World. This morning Chris, Emma and Matthew won Dream Fast Passes after getting off the speedway. They were all thrilled. Emma and Carol rode the Tea Cups with Alice in Wonderland. Lunch was in the castle for all the princesses in the group. Lots of stories to tell about this trip. See you all soon.

Epcot, Downtown Disney and Magic Kingdom were all our ports of call today. Weather was cloudy and misty at times but that didn't dampen the weary travelers. While the ladies were at the boutique, the boys were having fun at Disney's Quest. Everyone ended up the day together watching the Spectromagic parade.

Matthew has lots more favorites at Disney World after Wednesday. From Big Thunder Mountain to Test Track, he's become a roller coaster enthusiast. Started the day with Pooh and ended with Illuminations at Epcot.

Through the thickest fog we've ever seen it was off to Animal Kingdom for Matthew's choice of Breakfast with Donald. Right after we headed to Asia and Mt. Everest. I rode with Chris and Emma while Carol and Chris rode a little later. Emma decided that once was enough. She didn't feel the same about the Kalipali Rapids which she rode 4 times. Mid-afternoon saw some pool activity where everyone was able to recouperate from their experience on the jungle safari. The day ended with us watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian Resort.

We had a couple of pirates in the group this morning. They recovered lots of buried treasure on their Pirate Adventure. It was off to EPCOT by way of the monorail for the rest of the day. The day ended with everyone (except Sophia) "Soarin'" over California.

After a morning wake up call from Mickey Mouse, Blizzard Beach was our destination. Despite a few light showers the sun managed to peek through and temps warmed to the 80's. Afternoon was MGM studios. Matthew got to see the Power Rangers, all rode Star Tours and Emma and Carol finished off the night at Fantasmic. The Patriots put a damper on the group since Chris had to tear himself away to go to the ESPN Sports Bar to cheer on the team.

After visiting Vicky in the hospital we all heading for Logan and the warm Florida weather. Emma, Matthew and Sophia flew like pros and even made friends. Everyone loves Port Orleans, especially the slide at the pool.
